"My Best Hangover" is a song about being young and partying, then finding the best friend you could ever ask for. Pink pinup and sex-positive singer songwriter Bette Foord debuts her first single of 2023 titled, My Best Hangover. Adding to her already impressive catalogue, My Best Hangover was written and performed by Bette and produced by fellow Victorian Alix Ewart. Navigating its way through the acoustic pop genre, the single is elegantly simplistic, with only a ukulele, bottles and Bette's distinct vocal painting its sonic soundscape. Diligently trying to be authentic to the context of drinking and hangovers, Bette put her body on the line and got drunk to sing the vocals on this track. This song nor Bette condone binge-drinking but instead, comments on the serendipity of a youthful, night out, partying, and the next day, changing a life, forever.
